ACEC, the African Cultural and Educaiton Center, is looking for a committed professional intern to join our team. ACEC is a nonprofit housed in Afrikmall focused on engaging the community with cultural and educational programs about Africa and the diaspora.
The Marketing and Communications intern will be in charge or developing digital and print media, updating social media, assisting in event organization and promotion, some web-development and/or maintenance, and generally assisting in communicating the mission and vision of ACEC to the general public and potential funders.
This position is eligible to fulfill university credits. Please note the time committments prior to applying. Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and stay on task. Ability to work effectively in intercultural settings required.
