FRIENDS OF ART & DESIGN HIGH SCHOOL "FAD" NEED VOLUNTEER TUTORS!!
Do You Love Art, Architecture, Film, Animation, Photography, Graphic Design, Cartooning or Fashion? Well, all our students do and they need help in tutoring.
Seeking individuals to assist/mentor TALENTED students in grades 9-12 with MATH (geometry, Trig, or algebra), Global Studies, History, Sciences, English and test prep. Work with one or two students at a time.
DAYS: TUESDAY; WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY
TIMES: Tutoring is during the Students lunch hour. 4th period 10:44-11:28; 5th period 11:32-12:36; 6th period 12:20-1:04 & 7th period 1:08-1:52

FAD Board members and supporters believe that it is every citizen's responsibility to do all she or he can do to help every young person achieve his or her potential, not only for the student's welfare, but for the welfare of our society.
Description
FAD stands for Friends of Art & Design-an all volunteer, non-profit organization that was founded in 1994. Our purpose is to support the students of the High School of Art & Design, a public high school with a commercial arts focus. Located at 245 E 56 Street, FAD was established by residents of the neighborhood surrounding the school. While many of the school’s graduates have achieved incredible success , many current students have unmet needs which FAD strives to fulfill.
