Job Title: Program Assistant

Purpose of Position: The Program Assistant has a key role in helping to coordinate various language and cultural programs of ReDefiners World Languages. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and is expected to maintain frequent and timely communication to ensure goals are accomplished in a timely manner. The Program Assistant helps to develop and maintain creative, engaging and organized programming.

Work Location:

• Office- RDWL Center - University Mall 2200 E Fowler Ave, Tampa/FL, 33612

• Hillsborough County

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage onsite registration

• Be a liaison between parents and staff

• Maintain program records (outcomes, curriculum, etc.)

• Ensure all programs are adequately staffed

• Helps to develop creative programming

Length of Appointment: Ongoing

Time Commitment:

Approx. 5 Hours per week

1-2 hours per week to maintain off-site and on-site after-school and Saturday programs

On-site:

Two Fridays per month 6:30-7:30

Saturday Mornings 9:30-11:00 AM

Special Programming as Needed

Support:

• Development Director will provide expectations and guidance where applicable

Requirements

• Bilingual; Proficient in English and Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin

• Strong Communication skills; oral and written

• Able to communicate enthusiasm about mission

• Proactive work ethic

• Proficient in google drive tools and database management

• Able to maintain accurate and organized records

• Comfortable with meeting short deadlines

• Able to work well independently and within a team environment
