The Northwoods Habitat for Humanity ReStore is seeking volunteers to help with the intake and processing of donated items. The ReStore accepts gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials and resells them (after minor repairs if needed), helping to raise money for the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate while also keeping usable goods out of the landfill.
We are open for donations during the following hours, during which we need volunteers to help with the intake of donations:
Tuesday: 10am-3pm
Wednesday-Friday: 10am-4:30pm
Saturday: 9am-12:30pm
Volunteers interested in this position should be able to remain on their feet for extended periods of time and occasionally lift approximately 50 pounds.

We are an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International -a non-profit organization with the goal of eliminating substandard housing worldwide. Our Mission: Building simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with God's people in need in Beltrami and Clearwater Counties. Ou ultimate goal: To eliminate poverty housing and lack of affordable housing in our area. We are a non-discriminatory, equal housing lender. Geographical Service Area: Beltrami and Clearwater Counties in Minnesota. Since 1990, we have built or renovated and sold homes to 47 families. Our tithe to Guatemala has resulted in 28 additional homes built. We have completed 40 A Brush With Kindness projects allowing low income homeowners the opportunity to make necessary exterior repairs to their homes.
