Our exciting new project Sustainable Food Basket needs funding from global sponsors. The ideal candidate has initiative to ask questions and the ability to work independently, though understanding the overall goals of the project is essential. In addition to project management, accounting, financial planning with ERI Directors; research of funding sources, foundations and sponsors (ERI already has a large database of potential investors); writing grant proposals; correspondence and followup.

We have four positions available. One coordinator needed for each region:

Amazon

Atlantic Forest

Serrado / Savanna

Caatinga / Semiarid / North East Region

In this position, you will be resposible for communication with our original partners. We have four NGO partners, one for each region. You will be in charge of collecting data from them about the status of the pilot, what is needed to improve the quality of food production and any other resources needed. Help implement the pilot in that region.

A passion for Sustainable Development, food and Brazil is a big plus. Knowledge of portuguese is helpful.
