If working with and supporting Senior Citizens is your passion...look no further for a very rewarding and flexible volunteer opportunity!
We are proud to announce that due to great growth, we are seeking volunteers for our McLean Village- Senior Source Resource Desk. We are located in the McLean Dolly Madison Library twice a week. You will have an extensive resource book and be able to troubleshoot community questions, and share important local resources to those in need.
Help is needed on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
We will provide all of the training necessary. Volunteers should have basic comfort in working with a computer, cell phone, and seniors. We are a non-emergency resource for providing seniors (and sometimes other McLean locals) with ideas and referrals to programs, vendors or Fairfax County programs that may offer them support.
