Join in the most significant effort to end chronic homelessness in LA ever taken, Proposition HHH. This historic ballot measure will help raise $1.2 Billion for clean and safe housing.
We are looking for 15 volunteers on each of the days below to help us write personal notes on 2,500 postcards to encourage voters to vote yes on this little known propostion. With a crowded ballot this November, every vote will count to help build thousands of new housing units for those in need.

Mission Statement
The People Concern believes no one should have to live on the street or in a violent household. Our staff, volunteers and those we serve work together to address the effects of homelessness, poverty, mental and physical illness, abuse and addiction. Our programs empower the most vulnerable among us to improve their quality of life - housed, healthy and safe - and become active participants in the community. We also work to educate the broader community and improve public policy.
Description
The People Concern empowers the most vulnerable among us to rebuild their lives. As one of Los Angeles County’s largest social services agencies, we provide a fully integrated system of care - including mental and medical health care, substance abuse services, and housing - tailored to the unique needs of homeless individuals, survivors of domestic violence, challenged youth, and others who have nowhere else to turn.
