ORGANIZATION: Junior Achievement of Northern California

Make an exciting difference in the future of Santa Clara County middle school students by teaching them economic success skills! You get to teach a class of young people all about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. No teaching experience? No problem! We provide you with the training, programs, and materials you'll need to be successful in the classroom.

In this role, you will spend one hour per week for 6 weeks in a classroom interacting with students. Scheduling is somewhat flexible based on the teacher's class times.

Junior Achievement of Northern California (JA) achieves this mission through teaching students about their expanding roles as individuals, consumers, employees, employers, and productive members of our society. Working in partnership with over 4,000 community and corporate volunteers, we provide empowering programs to K-12 students across 26 counties in Northern and Central California. JA's vision is to make a positive impact on the lives of all students in our operational area, and our efforts towards this ultimate goal are guided by these core values:
