ORGANIZATION: Second Harvest of Silicon Valley

'Tis the season of giving! Applied Materials Silicon Valley Turkey Trot race is the largest turkey trot in America, with proceeds benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank, The Health Trust, The Housing Trust of Silicon Valley and Healthier Kids Foundation. Adults are needed to assist in the Kid's Fun Run and as Volunteer Leaders.

Requirements:

- Be available to work one of the following shifts on Nov. 24th (Thanksgiving Day): 7:00 am - 11:30 am, 5:00 am - 10:00 am

- Must be 18 years or older to volunteer for these specific opportunities

- Commitment to volunteer your entire preregistered shift

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is a private non-profit organization that collects and distributes more than 12 million pounds of food each month. We currently serve an average of over 500,000 individuals each month; 60% are low income families and 20% are seniors. By building collaborative networks, we efficiently distribute food by leveraging donations of money, food and human resources. But we cannot do it alone.
