Join a support team for someone working to overcome their poverty situation. Provide encouragement, ideas, connections and more. Become an Ally for a family in a Support Circle of Franklin County.
A Support Circle empowers a family and connects community members in the hard work of moving out of poverty and into a new, healthy future. A Community Ally spends about 4 to 5 hours a month, partnered with other allies, to form a Support Circle.
If you are a good listener and want to share your life experiences with a local family striving to get out of poverty, contact Jon Raber ( jonraber@sccap.org) or call 717-263-5060, ext. 320.
