Volunteers NEEDED for 27th Annual Conference on Aging & Vendor Expo!

LiveOn NY is hosting their 27th annual Conference on Aging & Vendor Expo November 3rd and we need your help! This eventful day will convene leaders from Community based aging service organizations to share resources, and knowledge and valuable updates in the aging industry. Workshops will cover topics such as social bullying, cultural competency,communication in dementia care and more!

The Conference will be held on Thursday, November 3 at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square. It is a full day event featuring a keynote presentation, 2 breakout sessions, lunch, afternoon session & reception, and vendor exhibition.

Volunteers recieve the opportunity to attend 1 workshop of their choice as well as attend the keynote & afternoon sessions, and lunch. Please note that this is a one-time volunteer opportunity.

Volunteer Roles include:

1. Workshops - Post correct workshop sign in the room, ensure participants are settled in on time, make sure the presenters are set with everything they need (powerpoint, any materials to handout), pass out evaluations and collect the evaluations at the end of the session
2. Traffic Control- Stationed throughout the floor helping direct attendees to the next session (a map is provided and program guide indicating where each session is held)
3. Conference Greeters - Stationed throughout the Marriot to greet attendees as they enter the event
4. Conference Bag Stuffing - Stuff conference giveaway bags for attendees with information and other resources. ****Please Note: This role will be conducted on a date prior to the event in our priamry offices. Please indicate if you wish to help with stuffing
