Love being in the great outdoors? Interested in volunteering at a botanical garden?
Join our volunteer horticulture crew and assist with general gardening tasks such as raking, weeding, pruning, planting, etc. It takes a village to keep our 80 acres looking their best.
Horticulture volunteer shifts are 9am to noon, Monday through Friday. You are invited to volunteer with us as often as you like, be that monthly, weekly or more often! Come out and have a great time getting your hands dirty with us.

Mission Statement
To welcome and inspire all visitors with an appreciation for the extraordinary ecology of the Pacific Northwest, and to provide a meaningful educational experience for gardeners of all skill levels and ages.
Description
The Oregon Garden is an 80-acre botanical garden with more than 20 specialty gardens showcasing the wide variety of plants suitable to the climate of the Pacific Northwest. Highlights include the Conifer Garden, Silverton Market Garden and Sensory Garden. We are pet-friendly and offer a seasonal narrated tram tour. Throughout the year, the Garden serves as a venue for both public and private events including weddings, outdoor movies, craft markets and more. Volunteers are critical to our mission and assist our staff in areas including horticulture, guest services, maintenance and more.

- Must be at least 18
- Orientation or Training
- Shifts are three hours, from 9am to 12pm Monday through Friday. You are invited to volunteer for as many or as few shifts as your schedule allows.
- Prior to volunteering, you will need to complete our volunteer application and an interview with our Volunteer Coordinator.
