- Maintain and create files

- Assist with recording of statistics

- Make copies

- Help to organize offices

- Assist with client intake

- Light cleaning of offices

- Additional clerical duties as needed

Volunteer Coordination

- Create and maintain volunteer schedule

- Documenting volunteer hours and time

- Process volunteer paperwork/documentation

- Create and maintain volunteer files

- Outreach to potential volunteers and volunteer groups

- Create and host volunteer training sessions and materials (with the Officers)

Description

The Salvation Army of the Syracuse Are has been assisting people in this community since 1883. Last year we served 30,000 people in Onondaga County through 40 programs ranging from our food pantry, shelters for the homeless, licensed, quality day care for low-income families, outreach and counseling for runaway teens, housing, parenting and life skills training for young mothers, senior services and food and gifts for disadvantaged families during the holidays.
