ORGANIZATION: Britepaths


Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) is seeking caring community members to sponsor individuals and families in need who live throughout the Fairfax County area for Thanksgiving meals, December holiday meals and/or gifts for children in December. This is a wonderful family, group or individual giving project at this special time of year. Choose to help an individual, or family of the size you feel you can assist and the area of Fairfax County you prefer to serve.

To sponsor a family or make a donation, please visit https://britepaths.org/our-programs/holiday-program and fill out the Sponsor a Family on-line form.

Britepaths will send you information on a person/family who meets your criteria, and you will contact them and arrange to deliver food and/or gifts. You may also donate funds to help us assist those who are not sponsored.

Description

In 2024, Britepaths is celebrating our 40th anniversary. Since 1984, we have provided help and hope to Northern Virginia residents facing economic crisis through programs to stabilize families, foster personal empowerment, and support the needs of children. Our life-changing programs equip individuals and families with the resources and skills they need to withstand a financial emergency and begin a journey toward lasting independence and thriving. We invite you to get involved with our work to help our Northern Virginia neighbors.
