While we serve as a distinguished eco-lodge for guests and student programs from around the globe who want to learn more about sustainability, the volunteer program allows participants to contribuite to the community in which all members play a part, and all these parts are vital to the complete circle of life that is Rancho Margot.
The Volunteer Work Exchange Program requires a full month of work in exchange for room and 3 meals a day. Our volunteer work an average of 36 hours, working 6 hours daily, 6 days a week.
Accommodation is provided in a shared room equipped with a bunkbed. Shared bathrooms.

Our mission is to be a model of Sustainability where visitors come to learn how they can incorporate this concept into their own lives through Educational Programs. At the same time, our mission is to provide more opportunities for the children and youth of our community through our Community-based program.
Description
Rancho Margot is a family enterprise and eco-lodge focused on sustainable business operation and living. With a staff of 45 people, an average of 8 rotating volunteers and upwards of 10,000 annual visitors, the hotel operation is based on an unique permaculture design as a closed loop, and natural resources conservation.
