Feeder Watch Assistants will participate in the national citizen science program by identifying the bird species found at the Nature Center November through April. Program participants will complete log sheets, fill feeders and enter data as a part of their shift. We are asking for a commitment of 4 individual sessions that are for two hours each. Sessions do not have to be consecutive.
An appreciation and enthusiasm for environmental preservation is preferred. Ideal candidates will be independent, self-directed and possess an ability to problem-solve. All birding abilities welcome!
If you are interested please Email the Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
