"I Am a Promise" is a tutoring and culture program for students who attend schools near the Turley area of Tulsa County.
Volunteers will provide tutoring in reading, math, and writing, along with having an opportunity to serve as mentors for the students - generally ranging from 3rd to 6th grades.

Description
Participate in African American programs; represent AASA at various high-profiled community functions at the request of TCC or other sponsoring organizations; access to leadership workshops and community resources through AASA networking activities; receiving notices and other resources regarding African American scholarship, culture, and community events.
