The Fall Community-Wide Cleanup will be taking place on Saturday, October 20, 2019 So mark your calendars now! All cleanup teams will receive bags and gloves at no cost, and the first 5,000 volunteers to register will also receive a free t-shirt.
Neighborhoods can hold their own cleanups at any point throughout the year and we can provide gloves and bags for each Neighborhood Cleanup. We will work with Solid Waste Management to have the collected litter bags picked up.
All supplies are pre-packaged by group for team leaders to collect. If a group fails to pick up their supplies, and they have t-shirts, the t-shirts go to other volunteers on a first come, first served basis. .

Brightside organizes community-wide and neighborhood cleanups and oversees many BrightSite landscaped medians throughout Louisville Metro. We also involve the community in special projects and programs such as Adopt-A-Mile and the Fred Wiche Award and environmental education programs.
