If you are a healthcare professional seeking a volunteer opportunity then we have something for you! Partner with us to help improve the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Lead a workshop about personal hygiene, hand washing, or dental care; educate individuals about nutrition and how food is fuel; explain the importance of exercise then lead an exercise session; lead a health fair. The opportunities are endless. Opportunities are available Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm on a weekly or monthly basis. Times are flexible and based upon your availability. Description
For nearly 50 years, MHMR Tarrant has improved the lives of people with health care needs, such as substance use, psychiatric disorders, and intellectual delays and disabilities. Using innovative approaches, MHMR partners with individuals and families, and collaborates with other community organizations to provide services and a hopeful future.
