I need volunteers to work on committees to help plan a Huntington's Disease Team Hope walk in Lenexa, KS. There are several positions available and we can work with the time commitment you have available. Members of the committee will plan the walk and run the walk the day of the event which will be in June 2017. (Specific date TBD) We will have conference calls and in person meetings to plan the walk. They will be less frequent at first and increase as the walk gets closer. Please contact me if you would like more information on the positions available or what the committee does.

The Team Hope Walk is the Huntington's Disease Society of America's (HDSA's) largest national grassroots fundraising event. Thousands of families, friends, co-workers, neighbors and communities walk together each year to support HDSA's fight to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families. Team Hope takes place in more than 100 cities across the U.S. Since its inception in 2007, Team Hope has raised close to $3 million thanks to the support and tireless commitment from walkers like you.
