Our agency provides staple food items every week for our clients who often do not have the resources to get food in other ways. This could be due to lack of funds or lack of transportation, but they rely on the food we give them each week. Grocery shopper volunteers help us fulfill this need to our residents by shopping for us! This volunteer position is quick and easy. Volunteering as a grocery shopper with us is easy!
Step 1: Arrive at our shelter.
Step 2: Pick up the agency's grocery store credit card and completed shopping list
Step 3: Shop
Step 4: Return to our shelter with the items (along with the card/list/receipt)!

Description
FRIENDS is the sole provider of domestic and sexual violence services in Washington County. All services are offered free of charge and confidentially. Services can be accessed as a community member or as a resident of the shelter.

FRIENDS' trained and experienced staff is dedicated to providing aid and support to those affected by vio lence in their homes or relationships. Services are available to children, adolescents, and adult victims of domestic and sexual violence and non-offending significant others of victims.
