ORGANIZATION: Girl Scouts of West Central Florida

Build new relationships with community partners and schools in Hillsborough, Pinellas and Polk Counties, focusing on expanding efforts in Pasco County. Research and write new grant opportunities, as well as identify new funding sources and partners to support the Community Collaborations and Outreach Program.

Position Benefits:

Girl Scouts of West Central Florida serves close to 19,500 girls in 8 counties: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Polk, Marion, Citrus, Sumter, & Hernando. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math.
