Recruit and train adult volunteers to provide mentoring to girls in the Community Collaborations and Outreach Program. Create and implement a comprehensive recruitment and retention strategy to foster volunteer engagement. Collaborate with universities, local organizations, schools and parent groups to encourage volunteer participation and parent engagement. Assist with volunteer recognition and support.

Position Benefits:

  • Monthly Living Stipend ($973/month before taxes)

Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math.
