Mission Statement

The Help Network recruits volunteers to assist older adults and persons with disabilities. Our network of volunteers come from all walks of life and assist in many ways, big and small; from providing simple companionship, to assisting with transportation, and everyday life tasks. There is a unique opportunity for every person, and The Help Network will be sure to find the perfect fit for you!

Description

The Help Network is looking for dedicated volunteers to assist older adults and person with disabilities with various tasks for a minimum of 1 hour per week. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life and can help in ways big and small from providing simple companionship to assisting with transportation, physical tasks, or preparation of meals.

We also recruit teams of volunteers for one-time volunteering and special events. These events may include serving meals, assisting in sports activities, building up events or helping out clients with daily activities and needs.

Please Note: We provide volunteer services to a vulnerable population. Therefore, we require each volunteer pay a one-time $25 fee which includes the cost of a background check, which is common practice for organizations who serve vulnerable populations.
