Join us in improving the beautiful South Shore Trail on Wednesday, 11/7. No experience is necessary; all abilities are welcome and there will be a job for everyone. The trail is currently entrenched, and is contributing to erosion along the bluffs by capturing and redirecting storm water from its natural path. We will be filling and capping the trail to allow for proper drainage by importing and installing a new decomposed-granite surface. A brief safety meeting and introduction will be provided for both groups by the California State Parks Monterey District Trail Crew. Two sessions are available, 9-12 and 12-3.
Details will be provided upon confirmation. Thank you!
