Fun Customer Service 'Meet and Greet' Volunteer Opportunity!

Customer Service Volunteers....we need YOU!!!!

Do you love talking to really nice people and providing great customer service? Are you a steward of the environment; passionate about recycling and landfill diversion?

If so, we need you!!!

This is an awesome event managed by the City of Phoenix Public Works Department! It's a household and electronics collection for City of Phoenix solid waste customers!

Volunteers greet residents, check water bills, ID, do a quick survey and then send them on their way for the professionals to collect their items.

People bring electronics, batteries, tires, household cleaning supplies, pool chemicals, and other materials to properly dispose of and keep out of the landfills!

Volunteers do not handle any of the materials at all. They are strictly meeters and greeters!

Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and close-toe shoes are a must! A hat and sunscreen is also recommended. Cold water is provided to keep everyone hydrated!

Volunteers can work any time frame on Friday or Saturday morning between 7am to 12noon; 2 hour shift if possible but not required.
