Do you love animals? Their sweet little faces, eyes that make you fall in love, wet noses, puppy kisses?
We are the place for you. At St. Francis CARE, you will encounter these things on a daily basis. We have more animals than you could possibly imagine needing love from our volutneers.
We offer community serivce opportunities, group volunteer opportunities, or general volunteering. We can accomodate almost any schedule, and will work with you to find a niche that works best for your personality.
You will find more than just puppies and kittens needing love, or kennels needing cleaned at St. Francis CARE. You will find your passion, your drive, your reason for joining animal rescue. Mission Statement
We provide shelter and veterinary care to lost, unwanted and abandoned animals until they can be placed in a kind and loving home where they will be cared for in a safe and humane environment for the rest of their natural lives. We also seek to improve the community as a whole by educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering in order to prevent undesired breeding and minimize the need for euthanasia, and by promoting the adoption of animals as pets from pounds, shelters and animal rescue groups rather than supporting inhumane puppy and kitten mills, which contribute to the problem of overpopulation of domestic animals.
