Goodwill Columbus is seeking 2-3 volunteers to help serve lunch at Augmentative and Alternative Communication day at our headquarters in Grandview.
Ideally, volunteers would be available during the lunchtime period (11:30 -1:00), although the time may fluctuate based on the length of time folks need in the morning to speak .
Goodwill provides lunch and some participants may need help carrying food to their table or assistance during lunch (not feeding, just getting a requested item or helping clear a table).
There may be a need for help in the kitchen (putting food on dishes). Volunteers could also have their lunch provided and are welcome to come early or stay to listen to our speakers. I believe lunch this year will be pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni salad and chips again. It is generally an informal day and the majority of participants have been here before and know the routine.
Would be great for a small group (3 -5?), as well!
