Become a Volunteer

The following is a list of basic requirements for Grace Hospice of New Orleans Volunteers:

• A completed volunteer application complete with two personal references
• A Criminal Background Check (completed by Grace at no cost to the volunteer)
• An interview with the Coordinator of Volunteer Services
• A signed Patient Confidentiality Agreement and a signed acknowledgent form of our Sexual Abuse Policy
• Hospice Volunteer Training

In addition, individuals who plan to volunteer their time in patient care roles will need:

• A two-part TB Skin Test (completed by Grace at no cost to the volunteer) OR proof of a TB Skin Test within the last 12 months and a one-part TB Skin Test
