Are you BRAVE enough to play in the Haloween MONSTER CUP? Grab your family and friends and join us for our soccer tournament to benefit Tiyya's Youth Soccer Program! Tiyya is a non-profit in Orange County that provides basic necessities and support to refugee families.
SCHEDULE:
8-9 Registration and Welcome (8-9:30am)
9-1 First Adult Soccer Games (Snacks available)
1-2 Organized Youth Soccer Workshop and Special Awards (Lunch available)
1-2 Halloween Costume Parade
1-4 Adult Soccer Playoffs and Finals
4-5 Winners ceremony and final fundraising count revealed

In doing so, we hope to create a community that fosters the development of self-sufficiency, ultimately helping our program participants overcome obstacles and actively participate in society.
Description
After being uprooted, starting over can be very challenging and emotionally consuming for refugees and displaced families. Newly arrived parents struggle to navigate a foreign system in which basic daily tasks, such as public transportation, doctor's visits, grocery shopping, etc., become challenges. Furthermore, they cannot provide their children the support they need to succeed in school and feel part of our community .
Tiyya is a grassroots organization that provides programmatic support for the whole family. Led by volunteers, our vision is to create a society that is compassionate and understanding of refugee experiences through developing relationships and fostering the public’s engagement.
