Thank you for checking out BACK@YOU and our volunteer opportunity. We currently have all of the volunteers that we need for backpack stuffing. Please follow us as we get ready to distribute backpacks this year, and we hope you will join us next year!

We will be organizing the items that go into each of the 400 backpacks for our homeless neighbors, and then filling the backpacks. They will then be loaded into a truck for distribution. (The end time is an estimate, and could vary either direction)

Mission Statement
BACK@YOU was created to help open people’s eyes to those that so many of us walk blindly by each day. The homeless are not invisible, and we should not act as if they don’t exist. We all deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness. None of us is less of a person for not having a home. With those principles as our guide, we simply fill backpacks with some essential supplies and basic comforts to share with our homeless neighbors, and our volunteers distribute these backpacks. We make each of our backpacks to show its recipient that someone cares. They may be small gestures in the grand scheme of things, but they are filled with love.
