Volunteers at the Enloe Cancer Center, serve in a variety of ways to provide support to patients and their families.
By offering their time, their skills, and most importantly, their loving presence, volunteers show by their actions how much they care.
Volunteers in this role are given a broad overview of the Cancer Center and it's services in order to help inform, escort, greet, and care for our visitors.
Shifts are scheduled once a week and are generally 3 hours in length occurring during weekday business hours.

Description
Enloe Medical Center is a 298-bed nonprofit hospital with the mission of improving the quality of your life through patient-centered care. It is one of two Level II trauma centers north of Sacramento, houses the region’s only Level II neonatal intensive care unit and operates the FlightCare air ambulance service. Enloe’s comprehensive medical services include cardiac surgery and heart care, neurosurgery, orthopedics, total joint replacement, cancer care, maternity care, women's services and bariatrics.
Enloe caregivers are focused on engaging each other to achieve higher quality of care, reaching out to patients and families to create meaningful programs and building bridges with the community to support health and well-being.
Enloe is one of the few California hospitals still locally governed. The hospital’s community-based, volunteer Board of Trustees protects this local status and assures that dollars earned are reinvested to improve the health of the community.
Enloe Medical Center serves patients and community members throughout Butte County and California's North State.
