The SHPE National Conference is coming to Seattle the first week of November (November 2nd - November 6th). The SHPE Conference attracts over 5,000 engineering professionals, students and corporate representatives. The conference is an opportunity for engineering companies and corporations to recruit top talent from SHPE membership. It also provides educational, technical and career opportunities for professional and student engineers.
Volunteering opportunities are listed on the conference website (http://www.shpe.org/shpe2016/). Volunteers will receive a snack, shirt and be entered into the volunteer raffle which offers $1000 in gift certificates.
People can sign up for as many opportunities as they want. A person does not need to be registered for the conference to volunteer. Still, please note that the person will only gain access to the event they are volunteering for. Persons still need to register for the conference if they want to attend the entire conference.
