The Program Development Intern position will offer assistance with program and administrative activities at KEEN St. Louis, a local nonprofit providing one-to-one recreational opportunities for children with disabilities at no cost to their families. The position is a non-paid, part-time internship with a time commitment of 10-15 hours per week. This position is ideal for individuals with a desire to grow in the areas of leadership, advocacy, and community engagement seeking to make a significant impact on the disabilities communities.

Essential Functions

  • Leading and coordinating program sessions
  • Managing volunteer recruitment and training
  • Evaluating program outcomes initiatives and investigating opportunities to improve data collection
  • Collaborating with partners at area non-profits, schools, and businesses to strength existing programs
  • Researching best practices on recreational programs for youth with disabilities
  • Assisting with special events, fundraising efforts, and grant writing
