Saturday, October 29th, 2016 11 am @ O' Cinema Wynwood The ICA Miami partners with O' Cinema for a screening of the documentary " Call Her Applebroog"; the documentary tells the story of Ida Applebroog's life, and career as an artist. The documentary is shot by Ida's daughter, Beth, through a series of intimate interviews, and memories, as Ida reflects on her career defined by fearless investigations of power, gender, politics, mass media, institutionalization, and early family relationships. This opportunity will require a 11 pm start time meeting at O' Cinema Wynwood. There will be no refreshments provided for the event, but you will get to watch the documentary as well! We would like for volunteers for this event to wear all black.
Interested volunteers should respond to this email to Riana Casas at volunteers@icamiami.org with a first and last name, cell phone number, and mode of transportation.
