About Us:
Unique Hospice is excited to offer several opportunities for kind and compassionate volunteers who truly enjoy working within the senior community. The vision for our agency's volunteer department is to build a culture of volunteerism that permeates the entire company.Volunteer opportunities range from:
*Simple activities like watching a movie with a patient
*Helping tidy up a patient's home in the areas they can no longer handle
*Assisting our administrative team in office
*Volunteer program Recruitment
Whether a volunteer provides:
-Socialization Visit
-Reads a book to a patient
-Active listening
-Grocery shopping for our patient
-Clerical office work
They are integral to the offering of patient's quality of life. Along with volunteering with our own hospice patients, we also believe it is important to join the community in their efforts to make the San Gabriel Valley a richer and more vibrant place to live.
