Facilitate communication between non-English speaking clients and English speaking staff.
Attend all requested meetings with respect, timeliness, and professionalism.
Track and record requests for translation.
Review translated documents for accuracy of translation.
Submit translated documents in a timely manner.
- Respect client confidentiality at all times.
Must be a native speaker or have a formal bilingual education with translation training. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Must have a high level of comfort working within a diverse and multicultural environment. Background check and references required.
Weekly time commitments will vary depending on current needs and volunteer availability.
