Gleaners will be once again be the benefitting charity of Detroit Uncorked on Friday, October 14 at the Gleaners Detroit Distribution Center, 2131 Beaufait Street, Detroit, MI 48207 from 6pm-9pm. We are in need of a lot of volunteers to assist with what is going to be an amazing wine and food event
Volunteers will be providing ice and water as needed for the wine vendors along with keeping assigned wine area bussed and empting wine buckets - should be about to lift about 20 pounds. Also assist with some post event clean-up. Black shirt and pants with comfortable shoes

For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
