Gleaners will be once again be the benefitting charity of Detroit Uncorked on Friday, October 14 at the Gleaners Detroit Distribution Center, 2131 Beaufait Street, Detroit, MI 48207 from 6pm-9pm. We are in need of a lot of volunteers to assist with what is going to be an amazing wine and food event
Volunteers needed to direct guests at main entrance, hallway to the VIP Event and to VIP entrance - welcome guest and direct them as needed - Volunteers would wear business or cocktail attire and comfortable shoes

Description
For more than 40 years, Gleaners Community Food Bank has been "feeding hungry people and nourishing our communities." Last year, Gleaners distributed 42 million pounds of emergency food to 499 partner soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston, and Monroe counties.
Of every dollar donated, Gleaners uses 97 cents for food and food programs. One dollar provides three meals for a hungry neighbor.
