Looking for a group volunteer opportunity SOON?
We need your help with some urgent projects at a few of our sites in Hampton Roads. For each of the projects listed below, we need approximately 3-5 volunteers for up to 2 hours of work.
- Landscaping at on of our smaller offices on Colley Avenue. This would include mowing, weed-whacking, litter pickup, etc.
- Touch-up painting on the porch of our emergency family shelter, Haven House, in the Ocean View neighborhood of Norfolk.
- Painting our new rebuilt handicap ramp at our services center in downtown Suffolk.
All tools and supplies will be provided, we just need your time & effort! If you are interested and available to help with one or all of these projects anytime soon, please contact me directly at volunteer@forkidsva.org.
