Shoreline Trash Cleanup at Lake Pleasant Regional Park

Help support Keep Maricopa County Beautiful Month with Maricopa County Department of Transportation and the Parks and Recreation Department by participating in a trash cleanup at Lake Pleasant. After the very busy Summer season, the shoreline has a lot of trash that needs to be removed. Come out for a beautiful day of volunteering on October 15th from 8-11am. After the cleanup project, volunteers are encouraged to enjoy the park for the remainder of the day at no cost if they would like. Sign up HERE:

From hiking on a barrier-free trail, to horseback riding along a creek, Maricopa County Parks offer visitors the best of the Sonoran Desert. At approximately 120,000 acres, Maricopa County is home to one of the largest regional park system in the United States. All trails within the Maricopa County Park System are for non-motorized use only. Ten parks in the system circle the metropolitan area and all are within a 45-minute drive from downtown Phoenix.
