AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in cooperation with the Buncombe County Library System and Council on Aging, Inc. offers free tax preparation and electronic filing of Federal and NC State tax returns for taxpayers with low- and moderate- income. This service is available from February 1, 2017 to April 15, 2017 at various libraries in Buncombe County.
AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is seeking volunteers for this valuable service to our community. Training will be provided starting in December 2016.

Description
The Council on Aging (COA) is a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals age 60 and older. COA provides personal, caring support and assistance with the challenges of growing older. We provide referrals and help in learning the Medicare system, staying healthy and independent at home, and support for caregivers.
