Del Valle Park Halloween Carnival & Haunted House

Del Valle Park is having a Teen Titans themed Halloween Carnival this year! We are looking for volunteers to run our 25 carnival games and at least 5 charismatic volunteers to be scarers in our haunted house. The carnival begins at 6:00pm, but we will need you to arrive a half hour to an hour earlier to get signed in and set up.

For the carnival games, we can use volunteers from ages 12 and up to run a game by themselves. Children under 12 will need to be buddied with another kid or adult to run a game. You will need to arrive no later than 5:30pm. You can dress up in fun costumes, if you'd like.

For the haunted house, it will be "Nightmare" themed, i.e. scary clowns, spiders, zombies, and the like. Costumes are not required, but encouraged. If you do not have a costume, please bring old clothes you are okay with getting fake blood on. We also have a limited amount of masks to lend. If you have your own costume and/or make up, you just need to arrive by 5:30pm, with your costume and/or makeup already done. Due to the nature of the haunted house, we require that volunteers be at least 14 years of age or older.

This is a great way to earn community service hours, however, we cannot sign off on anything court-ordered.
