Hundreds of children from public, private, and home schools flood into the Northwest Children's Theater on weekday mornings to see school matinee productions of our award-winning shows! We need friendly morning-people to help direct these groups of school children to their assigned seats. All ages and abilities of volunteers are welcome. Plus, all volunteers get to watch the performance for free!
This fall, volunteer shifts are from 9am to noon. Volunteers are encouraged to commit to as many or as few shifts as they'd like.

The mission of Northwest Children’s Theater and School is to educate, entertain and enrich the lives of young audiences.
Description
Northwest Children's Theater (NWCT) produces five Mainstage shows per year and administers one of the largest theater schools on the west coast. To date, NWCT has provided high-quality theater arts and education experiences to over one million children, families and students. In 2023, NWCT established and moved into The Judy Kafoury Center for Youth Arts in the heart of Portland's theater district.
