Position Summary: Catholic Charities of the East Bay has been diligently serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties for over 80 years in 3 primary program areas: Welcoming the Stranger, Healing Trauma, and Fostering Self-sufficiency.
Each of our programs have measures of success called outputs and outcomes that are defined by their funding sources. However, many of those measures do not look to the longer-term impacts of our programs. For example, an employment program is only funded to follow-up on a client’s employment status for 90 days, however, a truer mark of success is the client’s employment status at 6 months. The Impact Evaluation Specialist will take CCEB on a deeper dive into the longer-term impacts of services for our clients. This position will make follow-up phone calls using short scripted surveys/assessments to gather information on our client’s stability 6 and 12 months after receiving services. This data will then be entered into our client database to be used for reporting and data analysis.
The following services are areas that need follow-up:
Concord Service Center - Immigration, Critical Family Needs (housing assistance)
West County Service Center, Richmond - Immigration
Oakland Service Center - Immigration, Critical Family Needs, Refugee Resettlement
The types of projects and areas in need of follow-up continue to grow.
