Make A Difference Day is a day that the entire country celebrates by donating some of their time for the betterment of the comunity. In the city of Duarte we have been celebrating Make A Difference day for the past few years and we would like to ask of you to help us continue that tradition by volunteering your time. This year by celebrating this day we will be cleaning up our local baseball fields at Duarte Sports Park

Mission Statement
The mission of the Adopt-A-Park program in the City of Duarte is to create volunteer groups of people to maintain and beautify our local park. The City of Duarte believes that parks provide countless health, social, environmental and economic benefits to communities and maintaining them is essential. Our Adopt-A-Park volunteers will play a key role in keeping our parks beautiful.
Description
- Volunteers will gain a sense of community by adopting their local park
- Volunteers will increase the cleanliness and quality of our parks and facilities through organized park and beautification days
- Volunteers will take ownership of their adopted park and become dedicated to the safety of its visitors, upkeep of its grouds and equipment and overall park appearance
