Need high school volunteer hours? Want to help serve your community? South Shore MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) needs YOU to help us raise money to support our community outreach program! We are in need of volunteers to help us check people in, direct traffic in a parking lot, setup tables and breakdown tables on November 19th, 2016 for our annual fundraiser to help support our nonprofit organization. We will need people between the hours of 8:30 am and 2:30 pm. You will be able to choose between working from 8:30 am - 11 am, 11 am - 2:30 pm or 8:30 am - 2:30 pm.
South Shore MOPS is a women's and children's group located in Riverview, Florida. MOPS is open to all mothers and meets twice a month. Preschool-like childcare is provided during each meeting to teach children skills such as sitting in their chair, raising their hand, shapes, colors and much more. Mothers have the opportunity to develop friendships, support each other and listen to speakers and videos on topics like parenting and depression/anxiety. South Shore MOPS fills an essential need to support women and children in our community.

Description
South Shore MOPS is dedicated to meeting the needs of mothers of preschoolers in our community. Our group served over 50 families this year. We meet from September through May on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Childcare is provided during each of our meetings. We also have organized activities for women and children several times a month including play dates, children's programs and crafting parties.
