UC Davis Health System is planning to participate in the Statewide Medical and Health Exercise on Nov. 17, 2016. The full-scale exercise focuses on responding to a situation in the community leading to mass casualties at the Emergency Department. We are looking for an enthusiastic group of volunteers to represent a diverse patient population. We are actively looking for bi-lingial, transgender, LGBT, pediatric, geriatric, and differently abled community members . Some will go through the moulage process and have mock injuries placed. Acting abilities would be a plus however we encourage anyone interested in participating in this drill to please sign up. These drills provide a very important opportunity for the hospital to practice its emergency preparedness. Minor children with an adult(s) are encouraged to participate.
