The UC Davis Medical Center is currently seeking enthusiastic volunteers for a one day emergency preparedness event. Volunteers will be utilized to simulate patients in a very crowded emergency room and triaged and sent to other areas of the hospital to "decompress" the volume of patients and assist staff in preparing for such an event. We are looking for all ages of volunteers to act as patients and their family members. Minor children with their parents are welcome. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early for instructions. Please contact Richard Falcone at (916) 731-1309 for more information and to sign up to be a volunteer.
