We are a 30-year old, community-based organization located in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. We serve thousands of people every year through a wide-range of programs and services including treatment education, mental health services, support groups, and HIV testing and counseling. Our clients are primarily those living with HIV/AIDS or vulnerable to HIV infection.
We are looking for volunteers to help in our Development/Fundraising department as we prepare for a number of upcoming fundraising events. TPAN produces the Ride for AIDS Chicago (the Midwest’s only 200-mile bike ride) and Barlesque, a unique fundraising event that occurs over the course of four weeks every fall.
There are various volunteer opportunities are available, ranging from helping at evening fundraising events (e.g. registration table check-in, coat check) to light office work (e.g. internet research, filing, supervised event planning).
Work during the day? No problem! We have several volunteer opportunities available in the evening and on weekends. Your time and level of commitment can be flexible, we only ask that you be dependable.
